CATHY WILSON FOR MORRIS TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE
Issues

It’s NOT OK that residents are unable to view Township Committee meetings on TV.

I find it hard to understand why this is such a problematic issue in our community.  How is it that so many surrounding communities are willing and able to televise their meetings and Morris Township is not?  This is NOT OK.  I have to assume that cost is a major concern.  From a cost-benefit perspective, I believe that televising Township Committee meetings offers HUGE communication benefits for the public.  If so many other surrounding communities can afford to do this, surely we can afford it as well.  I think Morris Township residents deserve the convenience and communication benefits of televised meetings.  My pledge is to work HARD to find a cost-effective way to do it.
